Why did I do this?
Like the Astronaut and the tumblr girl image, I made this because we were looking at different materials to design things with in my first year of college and I made this using paint/ink on the table and then drawing on top of paper (also the number 1 in the corner is so I knew which one I drew first and so I numbered all my designs) but I did this one with two different types of paper because I want to try it on different services.
What do I like about this?
- I really like the brown drawing because it didn't pick as much paint when I leant on it compared to when I leant onto the white paper.
- I think they both look really similar and I really like how both of them came out.
- I do like the white on because where I tried to shade in the wings it came up better than what it did on the brown paper.
What don't I like about this?
- I don't like that the brown paper wouldn't pick up the paint when I rubbed it with my finger to shade things in.
- I don't like how when I leant on the white it picked up basically all the paint even though you can see the drawing its not as good as the one on the brown paper.
Improvements?
- I would try and find a material that doesn't pick up the paint when I accidentally lean on the page but does take the paint up when I rub it.
